Rosa Mystica Institute of Business and Vocational Training (RMIBVT) was started in 1986 by the Daughters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (Banyatereza Sisters) under the guidance of Rev. Sr. Margaret Mary Mabiiho DST, as a women\u2019s Development centre in Fort Portal Diocese. It was established as an initiative to empower women in the Diocese, improve their welfare, that of their families and that of the <\/span>entire society.   <\/span><\/p>

It initially catered for the girls\/ women who worked as house helpers in the convents and other Institutions which included Virika Hospital, government Institutions in the area among others.  Women\u2019s development programs extended to parishes of Fort portal diocese.  Rosa Mystica branches were opened in some of the parishes like Yerya, Kyarusozi, Wekomire, Kamwenge etc. After improving women\u2019s standards of living, the proprietors with Sr. Margaret Mary Mabiiho, in an evaluation exercise saw that there was a need to develop the skills of girls\/women to fight poverty in the families. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The following courses were started in Rosa Mystica Centre: Tailoring, knitting, Handcraft, Secretarial and accountancy.\u00a0Young girls\/women were invited to come for courses, preparing their future. The Name Rosa Mystica women\u2019s development centre changed into Rosa Mystica Institute of Business and Vocational Training.It was registered with Ministry of Education and Sports on 10th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2001. The Institute registered with Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) and Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) as examining bodies.\u00a0 In 2011 Rosa Mystica Institute registered with Uganda Business and Technical examination board (UBTEB) as examining body. In 2014 Rosa Mystica Institute ceased to be under UNEB. Through those processes the entire population in the neighboring districts was brought on board.<\/p>

RMIBVT has grown to a level that requires a constitution to provide for the governance structure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
